1937 pattern frog that has been modified (button hole added) for the No4 spike bayonet. Good issued condition.

WW1 Imperial German Entrenching Tool & Cover, 1917 Dated & Unit Marked.
Very Good WW1 German entrenching tool & its leather carrier/cover.
The tool has some field grey paint remaining to the head, the handle very clean, nice patina with no splits, worm or repairs.
The leather carrier is maker marked & dated 1917, its is also unit marked. All complete, no glue repairs, stitching good, a rare piece of German WW1 Field gear.
