British Shortened Yataghan Bayonet, Double Bushed For .303

Scarce & interesting shortened Yataghan bayonet that was first bushed to fit the .450 Martini & then bushed again in the 1890's to fit the .303 Metford/Enfield Martini. Not had one of these before.

condition is good, no pitting, just an even patina to the hilt & scabbard mounts. Blade good.Scabbard leather is nice, with strong seam stitching.

Well marked, more W.D stamps than your average example, presumably from being converted more than once..?

Nice bayonet.
