British, Pattern 1888 Volunteer Bayonet

Very nice, British volunteer P'88 bayonet complete with its original frog. Scabbard is pig skin over a steel body (Slightly magnetic through the covering) side seam with brass frog stud.

Bayonet is marked only with a 'M' on the front face of the guard.

Excellent leather, no damage. Fitted with nice light coloured grips, good pit free blade & hilt, lightly toned, no pitting or edge nicks.

Faint London makers mark to reverse of frog.
