WW1 British 1907 Pattern Bayonet, Chapman 1917

1907 pattern bayonet by Chapman, whose production was fairly small in comparison to other producers, amounting to 300,000 units.

Sept 1917 dated with its original '17 dated HGR scabbard which is a nice deep brown & has the 'teardrop' frog stud. No pitting on the blade, some small areas of staining, no edge nicks & has a good point. No post WW1 dates or markings.

Nice grips, some pitting on the front of scabbard top mount, good amount of original blue, its not an over cleaned grey piece.
