WW2 German S-Mine Steel Transit Box

Scarce, steel transit container to hold 3 x Smi-35 (Bouncing Betty) anti-personnel mines.

In good condition with original paint & stenciled marking. WaA stamped. All hinges & clasps present and working, carrying handle folds & clips in place in its recess for transport. Original red oxide paint to the interior. Rubber seal/gasket present.

Inner fittings have been removed, the box has obviously been repurposed which accounts for its survival. Will still hold three mines, it displays very well, a scarce item.
