WW2 British 2-Inch Mortar Illumination Round, 1944 Dated

Unusually good, empty British war time dated para illumination round. Most original paint & yellow stenciled marking to the body, fill date of June 1944 with 'Pick up' label stating where found. Must have been recovered very soon after use.

Good undamaged tail dated 1943 with launching cartridge still in situ.

Slight ding to the open end of the body from impact.
