Pair Of British 1899 Pattern Swords

A pair of Boer war, British P'99 swords, both dated 1900 with 1901 reissue/inspection date. Both are Enfield production but have differing unit marking, one stamped 56 Co R.E 6 R.R.D.G329 the second marked R.R.H 258. All unit marks cancelled.
Both marked sold out of service. Some wear to the leather grips.

Both have had the tips of the blades rounded off. The blades have dulled but are not pitted, these have hung together somewhere for a long time.

Quite scarce swords as their production period & period of front line issue was short.
