WW2 Imperial Japanese School/Training Bayonet

Imperial Japanese training bayonet & scabbard used for the military training of school pupils in the 1930's-40's

These were made locally in small workshops, this example is a fair copy of a type 30 bayonet, it is even marked with a crude copy of the Tokyo/Kokra arsenal stamp.

Quite crude construction with cast & welded hilt & guard. 13.25" fullered blade, 20.5" O/L in scabbard.
Working press stud, however this was not intended & will not affix to a service rifle, as it was intended to be used with dummy rifles. Untouched condition.
