WW2 German M24 H.E Stick Grenade. Matching, 1940 Dated

German M24 stick grenade, textbook early war example with warning to the can & Black inked filling details. WaA marked. Original paint (The hand painted green band visible on the botton of the can is original, it being applied at the factory by hand after the can was crimped together)

Matching date of 1940 to the can & stick, early type zinc end cap with anti rattle spring.

Good threads, strips down as it should. The detonator pocket is intact, (a nice & not often seen feature) has been rendered inert by the laborious un-crimping of the can (Dutch E.O.D 1980's) INERT/F.F.E
