WW2 German Schu-Mine 42, 1943 Dated

Excellent example of the infamous German Schutzenmine 42 complete with ZZ42 igniter & Nr8 detonator.

With its plywood body and Bakelite fuze these were very hard to detect with the equipment of the day as they contained very little ferrous metal.

The wooden body stamped with (faint) three letter code & clear date of '43. Missing from a lot of collections, this is a great example in solid condition, it still has original finish (varnish & Black to lid)
