Scarce inert 1st model Wk.361 LP. Fired from the standard flare pistol when used with a special barrel sleeve, to deliver H.E egg grenades or smoke eggs.

This is an example of the first pattern that functions as a rocket (the vents in the base are clear to be seen) Bakelite stem & collar, Aluminum base.

Stem maker coded 'edq' with WaA eagle, M39 egg maker coded 'boq' & dated 1943.

Inert resin filled, so has a realistic filled weight, can be part stripped. Good example with some original finish that displays well. INERT/F.F.E
