Interesting lot of cold-war Flying kit from R.A.E Bedford which was one of the leading test sites in the country, notably involved with VTOL research, and operated 1946-94
The lot comprises of: 1x Grey 1967 dated Mk9 flying suit, in good clean condition it is complete with a excellent aircrew knife stitched in place, all zippers original and working. One repair to the seat area. All labels present & clear.
1x fully wired green G-type flying helmet fitted with excellent supple 1965 dated H-type mask, no splits or perishing.
1x earlier grey G-type helmet.
Comes with various items found in the suit pockets, Map (U.K airspace) NATO stock air sickness bags, pencil & sharpener & a pair of civilian type driving gloves. interesting snapshot of British aviation history.
