Scarce Sterling S.M.G Bayonet, Wood Grips.

Commercial Sterling submachine gun bayonet, in good used condition.

Black stained finish wooden grip scales, bright 8" bowie blade with faintly etched 'STERLING' in a rectangle. No clearance hole in pommel or markings on the ricasso as is correct for these. These were produced in wood, plastic & sheet steel gripped variants, all now hard to find. Assume wood to be the earlier type.
