WW1 British No16 hand grenade, the last in the line of the emergency grenades.
The smooth cast iron body is dated 11.15 & the brass top cap is dated 1916. Easy to produce, production ran from Sept 1915 until Sept 1916.

Scarce British grenade in good condition. INERT/F.F.E
