1907 Pattern Bayonet Marked to Kings School, Canterbury

British 1907 pattern bayonet marked to Kings School Canterbury, which has the distinction of being the oldest public school in the country & perhaps the world.

Good issued condition, Wilkinson production, the original date of production obscured by the many re-inspection/issue dates 1920's-30's.

fading original blue finish, bright polished blade, varnished walnut grips.

Historically interesting piece, doubt I will see another.
