Hooked Quillon 1907 Pattern Bayonet & 1st Type Scabbard, J.A.C 1910
Scarce '07 pattern with hooked Quillon contained in 1st issue scabbard with integral chape. Chapman production it is dated July 1910, interestingly it is not marked E.R or G.R, just a vacant crown, highly unusual, 1910 being the year of Edward VIII's death.
In good condition, lovely bright blade, no rust or pitting, fading blue/plum patina to the balance of the piece. Good tight stitching to the scabbard, no shrinkage. Sold out of service marked to pommel.
