Rare early limited production variant of the German S84/98 knife bayonet. Only produced during 1915 it has a round clearing hole and grips & hilt that are almost straight.

Good condition the blade clearly maker marked with no pitting, but well sharpened. The grips have been carved presumably for more grip in wet & muddy conditions
