WW1 Prussian M15 pickelhaube, in very good original condition. The leather skull is extremely good with no distortion or damage, minor age cracking can be seen, it is complete with it liner of very thin leather typical of the period, the original leather draw string is still in place.

The metal fittings have retained most of their field grey finish, great cockades & chinstrap. Removable spike.1916 dated & marked there is also a now very faint name and unit handwritten to the inner peak & crown. Textbook example of an iconic item of great war headdress.
