WW2 German M42 Helmet

Very good German M42 steel combat helmet. Totally original untouched example of the type, it is complete with its chin strap. There is a name scratched on the front 'Kohler', the liner is complete, no rips or tears, original draw string. The liner is undisturbed, there is an accumulation of dirt in the liner/shell which confirms this.

The rear of the shell coded ckl (Eisenhuttenwerke, Thale) with batch number. Classic German combat helmet.
