WW1 Imperial German Trench Knife

Good clean example of one of the many variants of private purchase German great war trench knives. Nice grooved wooden grips, the 6" blade is very good with a perfect point & edge, no pitting only very light staining. no visible makers mark.

Black painted steel scabbard with leather belt loop & securing strap. One rivet to the rear is absent, otherwise good & strong with no weak areas to the leather. Classic German close combat knife.
